Artists & demos
How do I submit my music?
Use our demo submission page to share a listening link and your contact details. Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, and accessible Dropbox links are welcome. We accept links rather than audio attachments.
Does my link need to start with https://?
No. You can paste a full web address or an address without https://. Make sure the link works, and include any access code in your message.
What happens after I send a demo?
Our A&R team reviews submissions and will get in touch if your music is a fit. We cannot provide a response time or individual feedback for every submission. Sending music does not guarantee a recording or management agreement.
Is there a fee to submit a demo?
There is no demo submission fee. If someone requests payment to submit music through this website, contact info@eightcarimusicgroup.com to verify the request.
Can I inquire about artist management?
Email info@eightcarimusicgroup.com with your name, relevant links, and a short description of your inquiry.
Creators
How do I join the creator roster?
Apply on our Creators page. Provide your name, birthday, email, and at least one social profile. You can add more profiles if you create on multiple platforms.
Is there a minimum follower count?
No minimum follower count is required. We consider content style, originality, audience fit, and the needs of each campaign.
What will creators do?
Selected creators make original short-form videos using an artist’s designated sound. Each invitation includes the creative brief, platform, deliverables, deadline, and compensation terms.
How do invitations, submissions, and payment work?
Invitations are sent by email. If you accept, follow the brief and send your draft or live video link as instructed. Content is reviewed against the agreed requirements, and payment follows the campaign’s written terms. Applying does not guarantee a campaign or paid work.
Who handles creator inquiries?
Email creators@eightcarimusicgroup.com with questions about applications or campaign participation.
Publishing
What does EightCari Music Publishing do?
EightCari Music Publishing is affiliated with ASCAP. Our work includes registrations, catalog records, licensing coordination, and lyric administration for represented songs. See our Publishing page.
Can licensed lyrics generate royalties?
Yes. Authorized lyric display through services such as LyricFind and Musixmatch can generate publishing income under the applicable licensing agreements. Uploading or syncing lyrics alone does not guarantee royalties, and availability depends on rights clearance and service coverage.
Who should I contact about music publishing?
Send publishing inquiries to publishing@eightcarimusic.com. Include your name, relevant listening links, and a short description of your inquiry.
What should I include in a songwriter inquiry?
Include song titles, songwriter names, your role in each work, and any current publisher or administrator. Share accessible links rather than audio attachments. Do not include account passwords or sensitive documents.
Is publishing the same as releasing a recording?
Publishing concerns the underlying song or composition. A record label works with the sound recording. These are separate rights, and arrangements for each are set out in their own agreements.
Can I ask about a composition or publishing rights?
Email publishing@eightcarimusic.com with the work title, songwriter names, and your question. For royalty statement or payment questions, contact royalties@eightcarimusicgroup.com.
Rights & licensing
Who should I contact to license music?
Send licensing inquiries to licensing@eightcarimusicgroup.com. Include the artist and track, your project, intended use, territories, term, and budget if available.
Does a licensing inquiry give me permission to use a track?
No. Written permission from the relevant rights holders is required before use. Recording and composition rights may need separate clearances.
Who handles royalty or rights questions?
Email royalties@eightcarimusicgroup.com with the artist or songwriter name, release or work title, and the nature of your question. Do not email bank details or identity documents.
Contact & privacy
Where should press and business inquiries go?
Contact media@eightcarimusicgroup.com. Include the artist or project involved and any relevant deadline.
