EightCari Music Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is based in Texas. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, demo submissions, creator applications, and privacy requests. It applies to this website and does not govern third-party music or file-sharing platforms.
1. Information you provide
When you submit a demo, we collect the artist or band name, contact name, email address, country, genre, up to three listening links, and any message you provide. We record the submission date and your confirmation of the submission terms. Creator applications include your name, birthday, email address, social profile links, and any optional information you provide. We use your birthday to assess age-related campaign eligibility and whether guardian involvement may be required. Privacy requests include your name, email address, and request details. Do not submit passwords, identity documents, payment information, or sensitive personal information.
2. Technical information
Fonts use your device’s installed typefaces and do not require requests to an external font service. The website and its hosting provider process technical information necessary to deliver and protect the service, which may include IP addresses, browser information, request timestamps, and security logs. Formspree processes technical information associated with form submissions to deliver the service and prevent spam or abuse. This website does not use that information for advertising.
Website analytics
Google Analytics is disabled until you accept analytics in our cookie controls. If you accept, Google processes information such as pages visited, browser and device characteristics, approximate location derived from technical information, and a pseudonymous browser identifier. We use aggregate reports to understand website use. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled. Demo, creator application, and privacy request pages are excluded from analytics. Our configuration excludes page query strings and fragments; we do not send form contents to Google Analytics.
Google processes analytics information under its service terms and Privacy Policy. Learn more about Google’s use of information from partner sites. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 30 days. Report and event retention is separate and depends on the Analytics account settings. You can withdraw permission in Cookie settings; withdrawal stops future collection in this browser but does not automatically delete previously collected records.
3. Purposes of processing
We use information to receive and evaluate demos, communicate about submissions where appropriate, review creator applications, match applicants to suitable campaigns, communicate about roster and campaign participation, respond to privacy requests, maintain records of permissions, and operate and protect the website. Submitting a demo does not enroll you in a mailing list. Where applicable law requires a lawful basis, processing may rely on your consent, legitimate interests in reviewing submissions and protecting the service, or compliance with legal obligations.
4. Who may receive information
Information may be accessed by authorized label personnel and service providers supporting hosting, storage, security, or submission review. Firebase hosts this website. Formspree receives and processes online form submissions and sends notifications to the email addresses configured for each form. Our email provider processes those notifications and messages sent directly to us. We may disclose information where legally required, in response to valid legal process, or where necessary to protect rights and safety. The current website does not use advertising trackers, sell personal information, or share personal information for targeted advertising.
5. Submitted music and external links
A listening link and any access code you provide may be shared with personnel evaluating your demo. A private link does not create a nondisclosure agreement. Third-party platforms handle information according to their own privacy policies and terms. We do not control their tracking, security, availability, or access settings.
6. Retention and security
Online submission information is processed and stored through Formspree and delivered to our configured email accounts. If you send an email application or request, your email provider and our email provider process the message. Access to submission records should be limited to authorized label personnel and service providers. Provider retention depends on the service plan and account settings. Information is retained for submission evaluation, related communication, recordkeeping, and applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion through the privacy request form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; avoid providing information beyond what is needed for your submission.
7. International processing
Service providers may process information outside your country of residence. Privacy protections may differ between countries. Where required, transfers must be subject to the safeguards prescribed by applicable law.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information; withdraw consent; or object to or restrict certain processing. These rights may be subject to exceptions and identity verification. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You may also have a right to complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Provide the email address used for your submission and describe your request. Do not include identity documents. Further information may be requested where reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority to act for another person. Requests are handled as required by applicable law.
10. Children
This is a general audience website. A parent or guardian may submit a listening link on behalf of a younger artist. If you have concerns about personal information relating to a child, contact privacy@eightcarimusicgroup.com or use the privacy request form.
11. Cookies and changes
See the Cookies page for the website’s use of cookies and similar technologies. Cookie settings in the footer let you save an opt-out of optional cookies in this browser. Google Analytics runs only after you accept analytics. Advertising cookies are not used. Your choice is valid for up to six months. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from using the site or its forms. We recognize a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out preference in this browser. Deleting browser storage removes saved preferences; the signal is detected again on your next visit. Updates to this policy will be posted with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
